Claire-Marie Watson was born in Dundee and lived in Accra and Los Angeles before returning to the city to begin school. She spent most of her adult life in Canterbury and London, with spells in Toronto and Nairobi.  

She worked for many years as PA to her husband, an architect, and recently returned to Dundee after spending several years travelling in Europe. 

Claire-Marie particularly enjoys spending holidays in France, her mother's native country.

The Curewife  is her first novel.
